The machine was previously used as a demo and rental unit. Compacting head Two cast stainless steel H-frames connected by spacer bolts. Two laterally foldable swing arms for easy and quick changing of the rollers. The swing arms are fixed with two tie rods, which also absorb the compressive forces of the compacting rollers. One chamber insert for guiding the product flow and two center pieces for sealing the rollers. Pre-compaction unit The pre-compaction unit is mounted on a supporting column and can be lifted and swivelled to the side. The charging hopper (with 2 brake bars) is equipped with a cylindrical/conical precompression screw. When the pre-compaction unit is lifted off, a limit switch switches off the compacting rollers and the screw. Materials and surfaces In contact with product: 316 L stainless steel.
