From the manufacturer the following information:
The EXD-S is a heavy-duty double-deck stacker that can lift a maximum of 2,000 kilograms when using the initial lift or twice 1,000 kilograms when using double-deck loading and unloading.
With the EXD-S, two pallets can be transported at the same time
- This allows trucks to be loaded and unloaded in a time-saving and effective manner.

Frame.
- The shape of the frame has been specially developed for use in trucks and in confined spaces. In particular, the edge shapes support driving over ramps and entering trucks.
- The tips and undersides are designed as sliding runners and prevent them from getting caught at transitions. The angled corners of the platform make it possible to drive backwards out of the truck, even with the last two rows of pallets, without hitting the side wall or the rubber seal of the ramp.
- The platform is firmly welded to the frame, forming a very stable, D-shaped box profile that can withstand even the toughest ramp operations.
- To ensure optimal traction over time, the central drive wheel is suspended with suspension and exerts a wheel pressure that increases in proportion to the load on the fork.
- Lateral stability is ensured by two oversized support wheels in twin design, which have been specially developed for the EXD-S and the typical heavy-duty applications.

Steering.
- Fully electric "fly by wire" steering with automatic neutral position.
- In the case of straight-line stability, unintentional steering movements are electronically filtered out in order to achieve precise, vibration-free straight-line stability.
- Automatic speed reduction when cornering and lateral support wheels give the vehicle high cornering stability and reduce centrifugal forces in the curve.

Multi-function control.
- The new multifunction control element "COCKPIT" includes all control, driving and monitoring functions for the EXD-S.
- Thanks to the ergonomic switch arrangement, all functions are accessible to the driver without having to change their grip.
- The following functions are accommodated in the COCKPIT: - Driving - Steering - Lifting and lowering: stroke and initial stroke

Driver's platform.
- Depending on the application, the EXD-S is available with two different platform versions, both of which are tailored to the respective ergonomic needs of the riders.
Depending on the application, these needs vary so significantly that they cannot be covered with a single platform.
- For handling work with long distances for horizontal transport, the driver is on the platform almost all the time.
Here, the platform with lateral entry offers maximum comfort and safety for both directions of travel.
- If the driver often has to get on and off for secondary activities (scanning, manual rearranging, etc.), this is best done on a platform with an entry on the back.
- Due to the padded backrest and the ergonomically shaped lateral support, both platforms offer a high level of comfort, especially due to the springy bearing, which is unique on the market in this form and protects the rider's back with soft spring movements.
- The driver's seat offers various storage options and a roller tray.
- A writing pad with paper clamp is provided as standard on the EXD-S.

Drive.
- Powerful, economical and therefore cost-saving, thanks to a 3.0 KW AC motor.
- The latest generation of AC controllers, together with the STILL COCKPIT, offer the possibility of adjusting the performance of the truck at the touch of a button.
To do this, the driver simply shifts from one mode to another.
- In "ECO" mode (turtle button), the engine runs according to its standard characteristic, i.e. it draws little current and accelerates nominally.
This results in an operating time that is 15% longer per battery charge while delivering the same productivity as standard models on the market.
- In "BOOST" mode (rabbit button), the engine runs in the increased power range and offers very high torque and acceleration as well as higher speeds under load.
In this mode, the duration of operation does not change, but productivity increases by 25% compared to other models.
- In both modes, the driving profile can be precisely tailored to the respective requirements of the operation and the driver (speed, acceleration, deceleration).
- A speed sensor connected to the control K4427004 unit ensures smooth and smooth acceleration of the EXD-S to top speed regardless of the load on the fork.
- The vehicle brakes when the drive switch on the COCKPIT is released or the driver brakes.
Here, the AC motor acts as a generator and stores the energy gained during braking in the battery.
- When stationary on the ramp or when the drive switch is released, the control system monitors every rolling movement of the vehicle and prevents uncontrolled rolling back by closing the engine brake

Hydraulics.
- A compact 2.2 kW motor with integrated oil tank, solenoid valves and pressure regulating valves moves the lifting cylinder, which is equipped with a stroke cut-off.
- This powerful hydraulic system offers very short lifting times and ensures high handling performance when loading and unloading trucks, even under maximum load.

Mast and initial lift.
- Optimum view of the load thanks to the new mast concept.
- Wider mast and improved mast shape allow optimal visibility of the load.
- Capacity of the initial stroke max. 2,000 kilograms, twice 1,000 kilograms with double loading.

Brake.
- The braking system consists of two independent brake circuits.
- "Gentle" braking with energy return by releasing the throttle switch or reversing.
- Emergency braking by pressing the pressure switch in the COCKPIT.
- Driving is only possible when the driver's platform is occupied. The platform acts as a dead man's switch.

Battery.
- The battery is easily accessible and can be changed sideways for multi-shift operation via an integrated roller conveyor.
- Two battery trays for 450 Ah or 600 Ah batteries.

Safety.
- The vehicles comply with EC Directive 98/37 and are provided with the CE mark.
- Still is ISO 9001 certified.
- Speed reduction with higher load thanks to OPTISPEED.
