refurbishing report:
1. Mechanical part
• Complete disassembly of the press.
• Measurement and troubleshooting of all parts.
• The main parts of the press are tested (without destruction) in
order to identify any defects.
Frame:
The frame was inspected and non-destructive testing of the most loaded
areas was carried out. Damage to the table plane and guides have been
processed to improve the geometric accuracy of the press. The bronze
bushings of the main bearings were replaced with new ones.
Bed guides:
The guides are machined, the bronze strips are re-fabricated and
machined.
Shaft:
The shaft is mechanically processed, non-destructive testing was
carried out and geometric accuracy was checked on the machine.
Slider:
The slider was completely disassembled, the eccentric and the lever
were replaced with new ones. The working surface of the slider is
machined to restore geometric accuracy. The working surfaces of the
main shaft are machined, new bronze bearings are installed in the
connecting rod, the connecting rod is machined to ensure correct
clearances of the crank mechanism, like a new press.
Press drive:
A new electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor and a frequency
converter has been installed. The sub-motor plate and pulley are
adapted to the new size of the electric motor, the belts and
connecting material are new. The press will be equipped with a new
drive motor rotation control system.
Gear drive, intermediate shaft:
The gear teeth are machined and the gear is re-manufactured using the
gaps of the rebuilt gear. The connection between the gear and the
shaft is machined to the drawing size. Rolling bearings are new.
Clutch:
All teeth of the unit have been repaired, the linings have been
replaced, and the friction planes of the discs have been processed.
The rolling bearings and bronze bushing of the clutch piston are new.
All seals, connecting material and springs are new. The connection of
the clutch axle box with the main shaft has been restored to the
drawing dimensions. The quick release valves are new.
Third bearing, air drive:
New rolling bearings, all seals, cuffs, springs have been installed.
The consoles, lever and trunnions have been repaired.
Press brake:
The disc teeth and hubs are machined. Fixed discs, water cooled, new.
The disc linings have been replaced with new ones. The bronze brake
piston bushing is new. Springs, connecting material and sealing
elements are new. The brake water cooling system has been completely
overhauled. All pipelines, valves and hoses are new.
2. Lubrication system.
The press is equipped with a new automatic independent lubrication
system for the sliding bearings of the crank mechanism, the slider
guide bars and the E4437227 imported slider. The new lubrication
system includes a lubricant pump with tank, progressive distributors
equipped with a control system and lines. The press will be equipped
with a new automatic independent lubrication system for the
countershaft gear drive, which also includes a lubricant pump with
tank and lubricant control system. The manual lubrication system is
new.
3. Pneumatic system.
The press is equipped with a new air duct system, including
replacement of pipes and wiring for control and measuring equipment.
New components were installed. The condition of the air duct
(pressure, switching on of devices) is controlled by the press control
system with indication and the cause of the malfunction on the main
console.
4. Electrical part.
The press is equipped with a new control system and a new electrical
circuit that ensures safe operation of the press, including CE
requirements. The component base is made using components from foreign
companies.
The new electrical cabinet and control panel are made in modern
trends, providing a degree of protection of at least IP54.
The locking system ensures compliance with the safety requirements
when working on a hot forging press.
For an additional fee, it is possible to equip the press control
system with components from Siemens, Schneider Electric, according to
a scheme agreed with the Customer.
