Description
Decanters are a very efficient means to carry out solid-liquid extraction with a high content of solids. Before entering the decanter, the extraction product, previously ground, ground or ground, is intensively mixed with the extraction agent in a separate mixer. The inlet through which the suspension flows into the decanter is arranged axially relative to the rotating bowl. The solid wall vessel has a cylindrical section for efficient clarification of the liquid and a conical section for dewatering the solids. The spiral, which rotates with a slight difference in speed with respect to the container, conveys the solids (extraction residue) to the solids discharge at the conical end of the container. The extract is transported to the cylindrical end of the container where E4461673 it is discharged through a pump.
