The new 19-inch Rack PC SIMATIC IPC847C is equipped with the latest 2010 Intel Core processor technology (Intel Core i). The high computing power and PCI-Express technology make the IPC847C the perfect platform for high-performance applications, such as in measurement technology in test benches or in industrial image processing. The SIMATIC IPC847C also offers maximum system availability, expandability and compactness in 19" IPC technology:

- optional redundant power supply (AC)
- Extensive diagnostic and monitoring options
- Universal use for industrial workstation and server applications
- Variety of integrated interfaces and expansion slots

The Rack PC is available as a control cabinet device for horizontal and vertical installation and with an optional tower kit for use as an industrial workstation or server in the process industry and technical offices.
