Principle:
A creep test is the strength test under static stress and constant temperature.
The plastic deformation of the sample is measured.
In addition to tests on solid test rods, the cracking behavior under compressive stress can also be determined on foams (e.g. core materials for laminated composites).

Long-term behavior under load of plastics and metals at constant elevated temperature.
