Custom-designed spotting robot for transferring liquid solutions from 384-well plates to a µ-array plate that can accommodate up to 9216 spots about 300 µm in diameter.
It consists of 2 modules A & B.
- A: FIFO unit (fill in fill out) with a storage capacity of 40 µ-arrays under argon flow, manual or automatic in-out transport system
- B: Spotting unit with 384 pin print head (X-Y axis system), washing station & vacuum drying station for the print head and storage station for 24 plates 384 wells; Camera system E4461673 for positioning / indexing µ-arrays
The transfer of the 384-well and µarray plates within the 2 modules and from one module to the other is done using several wrought transport segments
