Sleeve wrapping line MULTIPACK/IT type 479 with shrink tunnel, year of manufacture 2001. The products are conveyed through a curtain of shrinkable foil and closed by a sealing device at the end of the packing system. Right afterwards, the packing unit is conveyed through a shrink tunnel causing the foil to shrink up and firmly enclosing the packing unit. This way, the packages can be secured against reopening and the multipacks again falling apart. The shrink tunnel has a wire belt width of approx. 300 mm, passage height approx. 300 mm, length approx. 1000 mm.
