The Fryma Koruma Delmix MZM/VK-150 is a vacuum mixing system. Products
with different viscosities can be dissolved, mixed, dispersed and
emulsified. At the beginning of the process, the vacuum pump is
switched on and evacuates the process vessel. Liquids and dry products
are fed into the mixing chamber of the homogenizer under vacuum via
the product inlets. The homogenizer is the heart of the process plant.
The fast-running homogenizer and stator system disperses and
homogenizes the liquid and medium-viscosity products. The pumping
action of the homogenizer conveys the product into the vessel via the
circulation line. A slow-running scraper agitator with flexible
scrapers rotates inside the vessel. The scraper agitator is
responsible for circulating and mixing the product. The scraper blades
move over the inner surface of the vessel wall. In this way, they
prevent that the product sticks to the wall and improves heat
exchange. The product returns to the homogenizer via the conical
container outlet. During this process, the vacuum pump evacuates the
container and continuously vents the product. After the container has
been vented, the final product is emptied into the circulation line
