Niton XRF equipment, model XL3t 980 GOOLD+.

the spectrometer is practically new as it has been completely overhauled and recalibrated by the parent company in November 2023, changing the defective/worn parts which are under warranty for another six months or a year and which has the double metal/alloy -soil/rock setting. (each setting is worth 3000 euros)

Overhauled by the manufacturer in November 2023, excellent conditions, comparable to a like new instrument.

It is one of the most advanced models capable of reading even light metals such as aluminum, magnesium, silicon and precious metals. The equipment was purchased in Italy from the American company Thermo Fisher, to carry out tests which have now been completed.
The spectrometer works perfectly.

Reasons for sale: non-use.

The equipment has a double configuration, both for soils and rocks and for alloys and metals. The silver anode was replaced in April 2023 with one year warranty. In April 2023 the unit was also recalibrated by the seller.

The unit can send data to a PC with dedicated software.
The case also houses the charger and the two batteries (one for the operation and the other as a reserve), and spare klevar for the mask, a calibrated steel disk, the CD with the software for downloading and processing the data and the instruction manual (in English and in a shortened version also in Italian).

Possible demonstrations of good functioning.
The unit is clearly intended for industry experts for metallurgical, soil and rock checks etc.

There is the user manual, plus a cardboard with photos and instructions for quick.start, plus two CDs with detailed manuals.
It is necessary to recalibrate it often using the appropriate function in the software and check the calibration with the calibrated metal disc supplied by the company (which E4461673 is present among the accessories included in the offer).
Recommended purchase for those who intend to buy it to replace a similar appliance that is out of use and/or from a previous generation.

It detects around eighty metals and also non-metals (such as sulphur), from the lightest such as Aluminium, Magnesium to noble metals (gold etc.) and beyond. Virtually all elements minus: H, Li, Be. Na B, C, N, O, F, He, Ne, i.e. the lightest ones that the XRF technique cannot detect.
