The U2PRW mitre and drill is designed for processing slats and
furniture fronts made of solid wood or MDF. The machine tool operates
in a semi-automatic cycle. During one cycle, the machine performs:
cutting at a given angle (in the range of 45 - 90 degrees) and
drilling in a jammed plane or edge of the element.
– made in Poland

Machining units
The machine is equipped with two machining units. The left unit, which
is permanently attached, and the right unit, which is sliding. Each
machining unit consists of the following components – aggregates:
the main saw, the undercutter, the drilling unit that drills in a
jammed plane, and the drilling unit that drills in the underside of
the element.
Bottom Hole Drilling Unit
This unit is optionally fitted. It is used in the processing of corner
bands for door frames with adjustable width. It drills a blind
borehole for the junction box. The picture shows the mounted red
guard, which is at the same time the base for the machined angle
strips and the guard with the chip extractor.
Workpiece pressure
The machine tool is also equipped with a system of clamps working in
two planes. The pressure zone consists of horizontal and vertical
clamps. Horizontal clamps are responsible for pressing against the
vertical bases and straightening the element. On the S51240916 other
hand, vertical ones are responsible for immobilizing the element
during machining. The horizontal clamp always overtakes the vertical
clamp.
Control
The control of the machine is clear, easy to use and functional. It
allows you to switch on or off all generators separately, additionally
divided into left and right sides. All units have an independent
drive. The right-hand machining unit is adjusted by pressing the
control buttons on the control panel. The actuator is a gearbox with
an electric motor driving a trapezoidal screw. To read and adjust the
length of the workpiece, there is an electronic control system US with
an operator panel and a digital indicator. This system is also
responsible for automatic corrections to the meter readings when
changing the cutting angles of 45° and 90°. In addition, it is
responsible for automatic homing.
