Technical details available upon request.

Vacuum evaporation is a process that has been used by the large-scale chemical industry for decades. Using vacuum evaporation systems allowed (for the first time) utilizing the advantages of this process also in small and medium-scale applications. Vacuum evaporation systems have been developed specifically for the metal machining industry as well as for applications in the field of environmental protection.
It is used to treat under vacuum aqueous solutions that contain pollutants.

Typical fields of application include:

- Recover electrolytes from electroplating

- Keeping a uniform rinsing water quality in static rinsing tanks

- Volume reduction of sewage waters which are damaging to the environment prior to (external) waste disposal

- Separation of oil/water emulsions in the metal processing industry (drilling and sliding grinding emulsions, and the like)

- Volume reduction of photographic sewage water prior to incineration and/or waste disposal

- Concentration of PEG containing water

The advantages of the vacuum evaporation process include:

- Gentle product A4438045 handling

- Low operating and maintenance expenditure

- Low power consumption due to operation with integrated heat pump (approx. 5 kW heating output per kW of electric drive capacity of refrigerating compressor)

- Fully automatic operation

- Also suitable for highly aggressive and chloride containing media due to the use of high acid-resistant materials

- Heat recovery possible for larger systems. Using heat recovery it is possible to generate industrial or heating water with a temperature of up to approx. 50 °C.
