YASKAWA MOTOMAN AR2010 Robotic Welding Cells

YASKAWA MOTOMAN AR2010 robotic welding station was built in 2020 in Japan by Yaskawa Electric Corporation. The system is specially designed for precision arc welding of workpieces. The machining process is performed by a YASKAWA 6-axis robot, distinguished by, among others, its clever design and robust arm with an increased range of movement. An arm reach of 2010 mm and a payload of 12 kg enable the welding of large and complex structures, while maintaining a high dynamic and repetitive process.

Thanks to its compact, slightly curved design, the robot achieves excellent efficiency even in a small amount of space. This solution also eliminates the risk of collision with the workpiece or peripheral equipment. Each of the six axes is driven by powerful servo motors in order to achieve excellent dynamic movements combined with high process reliability. All cables, on the other hand, are routed inside the arm to eliminate the risk of cable damage during the work. MOTOMAN AR 2010 is also distinguished by its simplicity of programming and its great freedom of movement, which makes it extremely operator-friendly. All machining parameters are programmed in the state-of-the-art controller, which offers intuitive operation and access to advanced functions. The offer also includes a welding positioner designed to rotate the workpiece during welding.
