Overview This Haloila Octopus 1800 SFTS TWIN is an automatic rotary-ring stretch wrapper for palletised loads, built in 2008. It was built by Oy M. Haloila Ab and delivered under the ITW Mima Packaging Systems brand; the Octopus line is sold today under the Signode name. The machine is still installed, under power and running in production, and can be inspected in operation. The rotating ring carries the film carriages around the stationary pallet, so the load itself is never turned. In the TWIN configuration two film carriages run on the ring, which is what carries the output: up to 100 pallets per hour with standard overlap and 21 wraps. Euro pallets and half pallets are processed. A top sheet unit is installed, functional and in daily use. The machine has no automatic reel change (RCS). Overview This Haloila Octopus Compact is an automatic rotary-ring stretch wrapper for palletised loads, built in 2016 by Oy M. Haloila Ab in the inline version. It is sold together with its pallet roller conveyor with pallet lifter and its control cabinet. The machine was specified for wrapping barrels and canisters on pallets, is in very good condition and fully functional, and has been out of production since July 2024. It is still installed and under power and can be inspected on site. The rotating ring carries the film carriage around the stationary pallet, so the load itself is never turned - a compact layout suited to lines where the pallet runs straight through the winder on the conveyor.
