A variable-speed elevator raises the fish from a water filled hopper and delivers them uniformly to five feed channels. Fish traveling head forward are led directly to the timing device. Fish with tail leading are turned around. The timing device releases single fish synchronized wuth the processing M4548214 machine and transports them through a back and belly aligning device into the feed troughs of the processing machine.
