Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Universal 2 Series hygienic pumps with rotating pistons are characterized by reliability, gentle unpulsive pumping of products with a wide range of viscosities. The special rotor profile and fixed cross-section of the working chamber ensure no pulsation, no turbulence and gentle pressing of the product without destroying the structure or desired solids.
Unlike cam pumps, the Waukesha pump with rotating pistons has only rotor tolerances to the stationary body and pump cover. They used a special non-rubbing material of rotors, thanks to which it was possible to significantly reduce internal tolerances. In addition, the seal line is extended compared to ordinary pumps. As a result, reverse leakage is minimized even with low B4449868 viscosity fluids and the pump runs smoothly under all conditions.
With no pulsating operation and low internal leaks, Waukesha pumps have better suination properties and lower NPSHr parameter, making them less cavitational compared to standard cam pumps. High volumetric efficiency allows accurate control of flow and dosing of the product.
