Super-soundproofed backup generator set as backup power supply with a
Volvo Penta industrial diesel engine with electronic speed control and
cooling water preheating (230 volts) and Leroy Somer three-phase
synchronous generator. The motor and generator are elastically mounted
on a common skid frame.
Other additional features:
Switching from internal to optional external tank
Fuel tank capacity (usable 95 %) 990 liters, refueling directly at the
tank.
Fuel consumption at 50% load 18 litres/hour, sufficient for approx. 55
hours of operation
Fuel consumption at 100% load 34 litres/hour, sufficient for approx.
29 hours of operation
Internal automatic start-stop system (type: Comap IG 200) with display
of all important engine and generator messages. Functional display
digitally on the display. Generator switch with motor drive 4 poles
integrated A51268 on the unit (generator). Internal battery charger
230 volts – 12 volts DC
Function: In the event of a power failure, the start command is
transferred to the diesel generator. When the nominal speed and
nominal voltage are reached, the generator switch is switched on. In
the event of a return to the mains, the automatic system monitors the
mains voltage. When this is stable again, the switch back to mains
operation takes place "WITHOUT INTERRUPTION". The diesel generator is
stopped after the cooling time (180 sec.) and waits in automatic mode
for the next power failure.
In order to be able to feed into a building, a power switch with motor
drive is required on site. The IG 200 control system takes over the
control.
The backup power system as a backup power supply is ready for
operation and immediately available from the Verl warehouse.
