LASCO TSP 160 S forging press was built in Germany by Langenstein &
Schemann A.G. (Lasco Umformtechnik GmbH). The machine has been
continuously maintained and upgraded throughout its service life. In
2019, a major upgrade was carried out, which included replacing the
seals, upgrading the control system, installing light curtains and
adding a SIEMENS SIMATIC HMI TOUCH touchscreen operator panel.
The LASCO TSP 160 S is an extremely versatile hydraulic press designed
for the production of extremely precise, repeatable and yet complex
parts. It is ideal for forges and industrial plants that require high
press forces and high repeatability of the manufactured parts. Its
main purpose is die forging, metal stamping and metal forming,
especially hot forming of steel or aluminium workpieces. It also
enables punching, calibration of forgings, trimming and blanking of
workpieces after the forging process. The use of a die cushion in the
work table and the large stroke of the slider means that the machine
can also be used as a deep drawing press. All these processes are
performed with a high press force of up to 160 tonnes, which, combined
with the highly dynamic slider, guarantees the best machining results.
The LASCO hydraulic press weighs 22 tonnes.
