With the GLEASON Phoenix® 800HG bevel gear grinding machine, manufacturers of spiral,
hypoid, and other bevel gears for large components can significantly increase their productivity.
The machine enables faster grinding processes while maintaining the highest accuracy and
excellent repeatability.
Its extremely robust machine design forms the basis for stable machining processes, even for large
workpiece diameters of up to 762 mm. Combined with a powerful FANUC CNC control system, the
800HG offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of gear geometries—from spiral and hypoid
bevel gears to special forms.
Thanks to its well-thought-out machine concept, the Phoenix® 800HG allows for reduced setup
times, supporting cost-efficient production even with varying batch sizes. High process reliability
ensures consistently high component quality and minimizes scrap.
Optimized accessibility to the work area, along with the ergonomic arrangement of key
components, simplifies all setup and changeover operations for the operator. This reduces nonproductive time and sustainably increases efficiency in daily operations.
