Description
Formlabs Fuse 1: Compact SLS 3D Printer for Nylon Components
I'm selling a Formlabs Fuse 1. It's one of the few SLS printers that fits into a normal office or workshop. It doesn't need its own room, nitrogen or extraction. A 10 W fiber laser sinters nylon powder layer by layer. Support structures are eliminated, so you can fill the build space tightly with parts and print many components in one pass.
Technical data
Build space: 165 × 165 × 300 mm
Laser: Ytterbium fiber laser, 10 W, 1064 nm, spot size 200 μm
Layer thickness: 110 μm
Materials: Nylon 12, Nylon 11, Nylon 12 GF (glass fibre reinforced)
Up to 70% waste powder can be reused per print (nylon 12)
Software: PreForm (free), files as STL or OBJ
Connection via WLAN or Ethernet, operation via touchscreen
Dimensions: approx. 64 × 69 × 107 cm (without base)
Weight: approx. 114 kg
Application
The Fuse 1 is intended for functional prototypes, small series, fixtures and spare parts. The nylon parts are tough, impact-resistant and can be drilled, sanded or threaded. Compared to resin printing, they withstand mechanical stress much better in continuous use.
