The 3D ultrasonic cutter from Fill enables three-dimensional contour cutting of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasonically excited cutting systems.

The principle:
The linear axis portal enables precise guidance of the ultrasonic knife with a small footprint and simple kinematics.
Thanks to the Siemens 840 D CNC control, the trimming device can be programmed like a machine tool.
Tool corrections or path changes can simply be carried out directly on the machine.
As standard, the machine is equipped with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit.
However, it can also be equipped with alternative systems. The knife is equipped with a separate axis of rotation,
to be able to cut tight radii and save other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
