Compact mixer granulator of the type DIOSNA P100, manufacturer Dierks
& Söhne Maschinenfabrik, Osnabrück, as it is used for the production
of mixtures and granules in the lower batch size range in
pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical applications. The stainless
steel container has a swivelling, lockable lid with ventilation
openings and is equipped with a multi-leaf mixing tool on the inside,
consisting of a main stirrer with an additional chopper (defective).
The machine stands on a painted housing base and is controlled via an
attached control panel with several push buttons, key switches,
emergency stop mushroom switches, timer and speed/time controller. The
associated electrical control system is housed in a separate control
cabinet with classic relay/contactor technology, circuit breakers and
terminal strips. There is a discharge nozzle with handwheel closure on
the side of the container.As is typical for the manufacturer, the
batch size is 30 to 90 percent of the total volume (P100/P150 series).
