CHEVALIER FSG-1640ADIV surface grinding machine was built in 2022 in
Taiwan by Falcon Group Co., Ltd. The machine is used for precision
grinding of workpieces with a maximum weight of 440 kg. A number of
state-of-the-art technical solutions, combined with extensive
equipment, make it the best choice for professional production
applications.
Grinding is performed fully automatically on a large electromagnetic
plate or directly on the work table. The work table is hydraulically
driven and moves on ground and induction hardened guideways. To
achieve the highest machining accuracy and precision, the CHEVALIER
FSG 1640 ADIV magnetic surface grinding machine is equipped with
dynamic balancing and automatic dressing of the grinding wheel.
During grinding wheel dressing, the work table automatically positions
itself where the diamond tools are and compensates according to the
operator’s settings. Balancing, in turn, reduces the vibration of
the grinding wheel and completely eliminates the ripple effect of the
workpiece surface. Both of these solutions, combined with the variable
spindle speed, ensure a constant surface speed regardless of the
changing diameter of the grinding wheel.
Daily operation of the machine is facilitated by the advanced iSurface
NC controller. This high-quality, PC-based industrial unit has a
number of useful features, such as a variable frequency drive that
automatically adjusts the linear speed of the grinding wheel. The
wheel balancing, in turn, is monitored by a built-in indicator which,
if necessary, informs the operator that this action needs to be
repeated.
The FSG-1640 ADIV magnetic surface grinding machine is offered with an
extensive range of equipment, consisting of, among others, an indirect
measuring system in the Y and Z axes, a 1000×400 mm electromagnetic
plate and a coolant cleaning device with automatic filter and magnetic
separator. The total weight of the machine is 3500 kg.
