AVIA FNE 40NC milling machine was built in 2001 in Poland by Fabryka
Obrabiarek Precyzyjnych AVIA S.A. The machine is used for precision
machining of workpieces with a maximum weight of 400 kg. The machining
process is performed in three axes by means of a reliable spindle with
stepless speed adjustment. The spindle, mounted on a swivel workhead,
moves in the Z axis on precision vertical guides. All this is
complemented by the easy-to-use HEIDENHAIN NC control system, in which
even the most advanced programmes can be created in just a few steps.
