Overview This lot comprises two VIG pressure tanks of 5,000 litres
each, built in 2019 by VIG Vertrieb Industrieller Güter (Kreuztal,
Germany). The vessels are CE-marked pressure vessels according to EC
pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU and were last used as
activated carbon filters in a brewery’s water treatment. Each tank
is fitted with a filter star; the filter candles show light damage.
The tanks are interconnected with DN 65 piping and come with butterfly
valves for cleaning, draining and shut-off as well as vacuum/check
valves. With their young year of construction and availability as a
pair, the vessels suit filtration and pressure-holding duties in
