The Klingelnberg PEK 300 H bevel gear testing machine is designed for
universal single-flank rolling testing of bevel gears and crown gears.
Here, gears can be measured and graphically evaluated by means of
single-flank rolling testing. These test methods are particularly
suitable for determining defects in the gear geometry such as
concentricity and axial running properties, rolling deviations or
pitch errors. Here, a practical installation situation of a gear
outside the gearbox is simulated under real load conditions and then
evaluated. Deviations in the gear geometry, machining errors due to
defective tools and damage to the gears can thus be detected and
eliminated even before assembly.
