FAM MANTIS INDUSTRIAL SLICER
Technical description:
FAM Mantis industrial slicer
The FAM Mantis is a high-capacity industrial slicer designed for the
continuous processing of fruits and vegetables in the food industry.
Manufactured by FAM Stumabo, a specialist in food cutting technology,
this machine provides precise and uniform cuts even in high-volume
production environments.
The transport system using V-shaped belts aligns the product
longitudinally before entering the cutting system, ensuring stable
feeding and consistent results.
Operating principle
The product enters the machine via a feeding conveyor and is guided by
two V-shaped conveyor belts that align it correctly. The product then
comes into contact with a high-speed rotating knife wheel, where the
cutting process takes place.
The combination of the knife wheel rotation speed, the number of
knives installed and the conveyor belt speed allows different cutting
types to be achieved with high precision.
Possible cutting types
Smooth slices
Crinkle slices
Halving cuts
Quarter cuts
Cut thickness can vary approximately between 0.8 mm and 60 mm
depending on the installed knife assembly.
Products that can be processed
Carrots
Cucumbers
Zucchini
Leeks
Potatoes
Elongated fruits
Other firm vegetables
Thanks to its robust design and V-belt transport system, the machine
is particularly suitable for elongated products and can easily be
integrated into washing, sorting and packaging lines.
