DESCRIPTION
ITS twin-shaft shredders with low speed and high torque designed to guarantee high performance and maximum reliability in the shredding of tough or bulky materials. Their solid and sturdy construction surpasses any other shredder on the market.
As previously said: Given the large size of the grinding chamber and the solid construction, they are particularly suitable for grinding bulky and tough products such as wooden pallets, cardboard cores, metal scraps of various kinds and sizes, stacks of paper / cardboard sheets and many other materials that are usually difficult to grind.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
The material is fed through a loading hopper placed above the grinding chamber which contains two rotating hexagonal shafts, equipped with circular blades of prede-fined thickness with 1 or more hook. The hooks grab the material which is then cut and falls under the grinding body by gravity.

The blades are made of high quality special steel, forged, I4453306 mechanically worked, hardened and tem-pered to ensure the same hardness on the whole blade, extending its life and allowing various sharpening before the blades need to be replaced. In the event of an overload due to excessive ab-sorption by the electric motors, the shafts stop and automatically reverse the direction of rotation, in order to free the blades from the jamming material, before normal operation in forward gear re-sumes.
