The Hino J07C is a 6.6-liter Japanese 5-cylinder inline diesel engine produced by Hino Motors Corporation (a subsidiary of Toyota). This naturally aspirated engine was mainly used in the medium-duty commercial trucks of the Hino Ranger series of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The main design feature of the engine is a rare five-cylinder architecture for diesels, which makes it well-balanced, reliable and relatively compact for its volume.
