Funktionsprinzip
Die anliegende Netzspannung wird durch einen Hochspannungstransformator auf 7–8 kV Wechselspannung transformiert.
Die im Sekundärbereich integrierte Funktionsüberwachung meldet die Unterschreitung der Koronaeinsatzspannung (= Wirkungsbeginn von Ionisationsgeräten) durch Blinken der Kontroll-LED.

Operating principle
The applied mains voltage is transformed to 7-8 kV AC voltage by a high-voltage transformer.
The function monitor integrated in the secondary section signals that the corona inception voltage has been undershot (= start of effect of ionizing units) by flashing the control LED.
