• Piggyback design: The monobloc unit is simply hooked into a
corresponding section of the cold room wall ("piggyback"). The maximum
wall thickness may be 150 mm.
• Hot gas defrosting: The unit has an automatic, demand-controlled
hot gas defrosting system with integrated condensation evaporation, so
that a separate drain is usually not necessary.
• Smart electronics: Equipped with modern control, Bluetooth
connectivity (for app control and data tracking) and automatic leak

Important Operational Instructions
• Ambient temperature: The device is designed exclusively for
operation in closed rooms at an ambient temperature of +5 °C to +43
°C. It has no winter control and is not weather-resistant (no outdoor
installation).
• Accessories for Viessmann cells: If the WMC3 unit is mounted on a
classic Viessmann cold room, a special adapter cable and a converter
box are usually required to connect the door contact switch and the
power supply without errors.
