PRODUCTION AND PACKAGING LINE Suitable for bakery crumb, coating
crumb, and meat-industry filler manufacturing A complete, proven rusk
and flake-bake production line, formerly processing 3 tonnes/hour of
flour into 2.5 tonnes/hour of finished rusk and flake bake (used as a
filler in sausages, pies, coatings and stuffing mixes). The line ran
continuously until the site was sold in December 2025, with numerous
safety upgrades installed throughout its operating life. Line
includes: 2x Baker Perkins dough mixers – recently upgraded motors
and gearboxes Dough sheet former – forms the dough sheet ahead of
the oven Spooner oven – stainless steel panelling, three burners and
controls renewed in 2024 Peg roller – breaks the biscuit sheet at
oven exit Cracker – reduces biscuit to a manageable size for the
next process 2x Mikawa mills – mill biscuit to coarse granules for
drying/conditioning Dryer, conditioner and moisturiser (inline) –
dries to ~2% moisture with burners replaced in 2023; spare unused
burners and an unfitted replacement bed also available 2x Turbo mills
– grind biscuit to finished rusk/crumb size Sieving suite –
includes two Russell Finex sifters (installed ~1 year before closure),
a Cuccolini sieve, and a smaller Russell sieve Ancillary equipment –
cyclones, seals, filters, fans, metal detection and magnets, blowers
Packing line – 3 packing points with heat sealers for 13–25kg
sacks, each with its own weigher and ~2 tonne holding hopper Chronos
Richardson palletiser – fully refurbished in 2025 2x bulk bag
packers – for tote bags up to 1 tonne 2x shrink wrappers Inline
metal detection on bulk packers, plus two full-bag metal detectors on
