Overview This is a complete automatic KEG line for stainless-steel
kegs, built in 1990 by Leifeld & Lemke and continuously extended and
modernised over its service life. It covers the full cycle from
empty-keg infeed and centring through external washing, internal
cleaning, filling and full-keg checking to automatic palletising.
According to the seller it runs at up to 130 kegs/h in the 30 L format
in three-shift duty. Control is by Siemens SIMATIC PLCs of mixed
generation (see Condition). Technical data Manufacturer (line
builder): Leifeld & Lemke Year of manufacture: 1990 (continuously
upgraded since) Machine type: complete automatic KEG cleaning and
filling line Capacity: up to 130 kegs/h at 30 L (seller-stated) Keg
formats: 20 L, 30 L, 50 L, basket fitting (Korbfitting); no slim kegs

Palletiser | Albert Frey | Served by the KUKA robot | 1990 Electrical
documentation | Circuit diagrams available as physical copies Not
included: handle control, Vision Tec inspection system, labeller. No
operating manual is available. Condition Used - still installed and
under power, in active three-shift production and reported by the
seller to be well maintained. The 1990 line has been progressively
modernised: kegs were originally hand-loaded, the robot was later
replaced (approx. 2015, seller-stated) and Siemens SIMATIC touch HMIs
added. Control mixes Siemens SIMATIC S5 (reportedly filler, CIP and
pre-/main cleaning) and S7-300 (the remaining stations, conveyors and
washer); as the S5 generation is long discontinued, spare-part supply
and future control integration should be planned accordingly.
Availability In production until approximately April 2027; the
existing and the successor line will then run in parallel, so
realistic handover is from around Q2 2027. Location: Germany. Viewings
in operation are possible at any time. Dismantling and removal can be
arranged on request. Price on request.
