bags in shipping cases, in one continuous process. On top sits a
Yamato Dataweigh multihead weigher in stainless steel, which doses the
product accurately into a GEA CFS SmartPacker SX400. This vertical
form-fill-seal machine has the Quattro Seal version, for four-side
sealed bags that stand up well. The SmartPacker has automatic film
unwinding, integrated sealing units and a touchscreen with recipe
management., After packing, a BluePrint Automation HVP system from
2003 takes care of product handling and transport, after which a
Rembrandt Packaging / Lantech case packer from 2005 places the bags in
cases automatically. The associated conveyor systems are included. The
line suits a range of dry and free-flowing products, depending on
