HAAS VF-2SS CNC vertical machining center was built in 2013 in the
United States by HAAS AUTOMATION, INC. The machine is designed for the
automatic machining of metal workpieces weighing up to 680 kg. It
performs such operations as precision milling, threading and drilling.
Its wide machining capabilities, combined with proven components, make

The HAAS VF-2SS is equipped with a spindle with Inline Direct-Drive
drive, reaching a maximum speed of 12000 rpm. It cooperates with a
31-position tool magazine that automatically changes tools according
to the machining program. Machining is performed in three axes, X, Y
and Z, with feed ranges of 762 mm, 406 mm and 508 mm respectively. The
worktable with T-slots allows for the quick clamping of the tooling
and workpieces. The machine’s rigid design ensures high stability
even during intensive operation. All this is complemented by the
intuitive HAAS CNC controller, which streamlines the preparation of
machining programmes and the operation of the machine. Thanks to these
