The TOS Varnsdorf WHQ 13 CNC is a
high-performance CNC-controlled horizontal table drill press fitted
with a Siemens Sinumerik 840D CNC control system, designed for the
precise machining of large and heavy workpieces. The machine is
suitable for drilling, boring and milling complex components and is
typically used in heavy machinery manufacturing, plant engineering,
toolmaking, and in the energy and heavy industries.
With
generous travel ranges of 5,000 mm on the X-axis, 3,000 mm on the
Y-axis and 2,000 mm on the Z-axis, the machine offers an extensive
working area. The worktable, measuring 2,500 × 1,800 mm, can
accommodate workpieces weighing up to 20 tonnes.
The
horizontal spindle achieves a speed of up to 3,000 rpm. In combination
with the supplied milling head, even demanding milling operations and
various machining angles can be carried out. The automatic tool
changer with 40 positions enables the cost-effective machining of
complex workpieces using multiple tools.
