Machine description, The Untroma VTR 3-9-12 is an electrically heated
multi-tier band dryer with 9 levels. It is used as a pre-dryer for
continuous drying of fruit, vegetables and similar foods, most
recently for apple rings., The product is fed through a funnel, a
slider adjusts the layer thickness. The belts run with frequency
control; feed belt, oven belt and mixer belt are adjustable at the
control panel via rotary switches and speed controllers. The dryer is
mobile on swivel casters. The 12-kW electric heater and the axial fans
are controlled by the Untroma control system Climat Junior N with
humidity measurement and stepless exhaust regulation. Bag filters
clean the intake air, an overtemperature interlock protects the
