2007 Mercedes Combined heat and power plant (CHP)
The CHP plant was originally intended for an oil platform. Therefore,
it is protected against salt water and can also be operated in island
mode.

CHP plant with Mercedes engine, which is designed for multi-quality
fuel (diesel, heating oil, pyrolysis oil or vegetable oil). Thus
preheating unit and corresponding exhaust gas purification.
BJ. 2007. Operating hours: 0 (test run only); The unit was never
connected to the network.
If palm or vegetable oil is used, preheating” is required to get
above the pour point.
All pumps were completely overhauled by the manufacturer when we
purchased them (see Rg with maintenance U51258834 report).
If you want to drive in island mode, this must be changed on the
control + the controller on the generator must be replaced.
In addition to electricity, the unit can also recover around 130 kW of
heat from the cooling water and 320 kW from the exhaust gas.
