The traditional drive has been replaced by a direct, closed-loop linear drive system to eliminate backlash and increase cutting capacity by up to 10%, with much lower energy consumption and constant operating temperature. The GA 43AL EDM machine features a state-of-the-art AccuteX CNC control based on a Windows system with touchscreen and compatibility with CAD/CAM software. The controller optimises the machining parameters according to different wire diameters, corner angles, arc radius and workpiece thickness for the best cutting efficiency and accuracy.
