Diesel Power Plant MAN 57.9 MW / 50 Hz – year 2014 This diesel power plant consists of three identical 19.3 MW MAN 18V48/60 TS diesel generating units with auxiliaries. The engines are 500 rpm turbo charged with intercooling and they are installed on base frame forming a wet oil sump for engines. Diesel generators have been operated only approx. 5000 hours since new. Alternators are ABB made synchronous generators which are air-cooled, and they have their own lubrication oil system installed on concrete foundation and connected to the engines with flexible couplings.
