A110 Twin-screw side feeder (ZS-B) The ZS-B allows fillers and additives or chopped glass fibres to be fed in from the side in powder and/or pellet form. The co-rotating screw shafts are largely self-wiping and pro-mote active conveying. The feeder can be attached to the twin-screw extruder in conjunc- tion with a connection housing at any point in the processing section where feeding of the above-mentioned materials makes sense. The ZS-B can be quickly installed or removed using quick-change devices on the screw barrel. The ZS-B is designed with a wheeled base frame; a flat and smooth installation surface is required for this.
